  • 1 (10-inch) pie shell
  • 1 1/2 c. grated Swiss cheese
  • 5 slices bacon, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 3 slices bacon, cut in halves
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 c. heavy cream
  • 1/4 to 1/2 c. milk
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. powdered mustard (optional)

Directions

    Sprinkle cheese and 1/2 of the bacon into pastry shell.

    Beat remaining ingredients together and pour over cheese and bacon. Bake in preheated oven at 375° for 10 minutes.

    Top with bacon halves and continue baking for 35 minutes or until firm and browned.

    Cut into wedges.
