  • 1 (9-inch) partially baked pie shell
  • 4 or 6 slices fried bacon (reserve 2 Tbsp. grease)
  • 1 c. chopped onion
  • 1 1/2 c. Cheddar cheese
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 c. half and half milk
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
  • dash of cayenne pepper

Directions

    Crumble bacon on bottom of pastry shell; add onion, then add Cheddar cheese.

    Beat eggs; add half and half milk along with flour and dry mustard.

    Add a dash of cayenne pepper.

    Pour into pastry shell and bake 30 minutes at 350°.
