Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. pie crust mix, prepared
  • 4 slices bacon, fried crisp and crumbled (reserve fat)
  • 1 small onion, chopped coarse
  • 1/4 c. ham, chopped (we sometimes use Canadian bacon, too)
  • 1 c. Swiss cheese, coarsely chopped
  • 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 2 c. light cream
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Directions

    Prepare pie crust according to the package directions and line an 8-inch pie pan.

    Bake for 10 minutes at 425° and cool.

    Using some of the bacon fat, saute onion until tender and spread with bacon, ham and cheese in pie shell.
