  • 2 (9-inch) pie shells, uncooked
  • 1 lb. bacon, fried crispy and crumbled
  • 2 c. shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1/4 c. minced onion
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. sugar
  • 1/8 tsp. black pepper
  • 2 c. half and half cream

Directions

    Mix all ingredients, pour into shells.

    Heat oven to 425°. Put pies in oven and bake 15 minutes.

    Reduce heat to 300° and bake for 30 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean.

    Let set for 10 to 15 minutes before cutting.

    Serve with garden salad.
