- 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
- 1 lb. bacon
- 4 eggs
- 2 c. heavy cream
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- pinch of nutmeg
- pinch of sugar
- pinch of pepper
- 1 or more c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 or more c. shredded Swiss cheese
Directions

1Preheat oven to 425°.

2Fry bacon until crisp.

3Cool.

4Crumble into small pieces.

5Combine eggs, cream, salt, pepper, sugar and nutmeg with hand beater.

6Beat just enough to mix thoroughly. Sprinkle pie shell with cheese and bacon.

7Pour in cream mixture. Bake at 425° for 15 minutes.

8Reduce oven heat to 325°.

9Bake 40 minutes or until a knife inserted in center comes out clean.
