  • 1 pie shell pre-made
  • 1 tablespoon butter cut into small pieces
  • 12 bacon rashers, cooked well
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded swiss cheese
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups cream
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon cracked pepper fresh

Directions

    Heat oven to 425 degrees. Place pre-made pie shell into quiche dish or use disposable pie pan.

    When pie shell is defrosted, sprinkle cheese on bottom of shell and then crush bacon and sprinkle on top of cheese.

    Beat eggs slightly and add remaining ingredients into egg and mix slightly again. Pour mixture over cheese and bacon.

    Bake for 15 minutes, reduce oven temperature to 300 degrees and add butter pieces and bake for 30 minutes longer or until knife inserted comes out clean.
