  • 1 (9 inch) pie shells, uncooked
  • 1 14 cups half-and-half cream
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 3 eggs, whole
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked & diced
  • 1 cup swiss cheese, shredded
  • 14 cup romano cheese, grated
  • 18 cup fresh chives, chopped
  • 14 teaspoon salt
  • 14 teaspoon pepper

Directions

    Start by mixing the flour with a little of the half & half until you get the lumps out.

    Add the rest of the half & half, 3 eggs, 1 egg yolk, salt & pepper to the bowl & mix with a whisk.

    Place the bacon pieces, chives & cheese in the pie shell & then pour the egg mixture on top.

    Preheat oven to 425 degrees.

    Bake for 5 minutes.

    Then lower oven temperature to 350 degrees & bake for 20 minutes.
