- 1/2 lb. bacon, fried until crisp and crumbled
- 1 c. grated Swiss cheese
- 4 eggs
- 3/4 c. milk
- 3/4 c. heavy cream
- 2 Tbsp. melted butter
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- pinch of salt
- pinch of cayenne pepper
- pinch of nutmeg
- frozen 9-inch pie shell
Directions

1Scatter bacon and cheese over bottom of crust.

2Prepare basic custard; beat until blended the eggs, milk, cream, butter, flour, salt, cayenne pepper and nutmeg.

3Pour custard over bacon and cheese.

4Bake in preheated 375° oven, about 40 minutes or until custard is firm and puffy and lightly browned.

5Serve warm or let it cool.
