  • 1 (9-inch) pie crust
  • 4 to 6 pieces bacon, crumbled
  • 1/3 c. chopped onion
  • 1/2 c. grated Swiss cheese
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 c. milk or half and half
  • dash of salt, pepper, nutmeg, parsley and garlic salt

    Bake 1 (9-inch) pie crust at 400° for 10 minutes.

    Saute onions in bacon drippings; crumble bacon.

    Line bacon, onions and cheese on pie crust.

    Mix eggs (slightly beaten) with milk and seasonings.

    Bake 45 to 50 minutes at 375° on lower shelf.
