  • 1 (9-inch) pie crust (uncooked)
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 small onions, chopped fine
  • 1/2 c. shredded cooked ham or bacon
  • 1 c. (1/4 lb.) grated Swiss cheese
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. cream
  • 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. white pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg

    Saute onions in butter until transparent.

    Place ham on bottom of pie shell.

    Sprinkle cheese and onion on top of ham.
