  • 1/3 c. finely chopped onion
  • 1/3 c. finely chopped green pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1 c. precooked ham (in small pieces)
  • 6 oz. Swiss cheese, cubed
  • 6 oz. Colby or Cheddar, cubed
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 c. evaporated milk
  • 1 1/2 c. whole milk or 2%
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire
  • 1/4 tsp. or less salt
  • 1/8 tsp. nutmeg
  • uncooked pie shell

Directions

    Saute onion and green pepper in margarine until tender; in blender on mix speed, beat the eggs, evaporated milk and whole milk together.

    Add flour and cheeses and blend a few seconds. Add Worcestershire sauce, onion and green pepper.

    Add salt and nutmeg.

    Mix in ham pieces and mix well.

    Pour mixture into prepared, unbaked pie shell.

    Bake at 375° for 40 to 45 minutes or until knife blade inserted in center comes out clean.
