- pastry for 9-inch deep-dish pie
- 3/4 c. cubed cooked chicken
- 1 c. (4 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1/4 c. chopped green pepper
- 2 Tbsp. chopped pimento
- 6 eggs, beaten
- 1 c. half and half
- 1 Tbsp. instant minced onion
- 1/2 to 3/4 tsp. seasoned salt
- 1/4 tsp. white pepper
Directions

1Line a 9-inch quiche dish or pie pan with pastry; trim excess pastry around edges.

2Prick bottom and sides of pastry with a fork.

3Bake at 400°

4for 3 minutes, remove from oven and gently prick with a fork.

5Bake 5 minutes longer.

6Let cool on rack. Sprinkle chicken, cheese, green pepper and pimento in prepared pastry shell.

7Combine remaining ingredients, beating well.

8Pour into prepared pastry shell.

9Bake at 425°

10for 30 to 40 minutes or until set.
