- 1 small head cabbage
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- onion
- green pepper
- 1 1/2 c. cooked rice
- 1 jar spaghetti sauce
- Mozzarella cheese
Directions

1Take the core from the cabbage.

2Parboil the cabbage leaves. Brown the meat, onion and green pepper (amount according to preference).

3Add the cooked rice and sauce.

4Use a 9 x 12-inch baking dish.

5Begin with a small amount of sauce on the bottom of the dish, then make layers as follows:

6half of the meat and rice mixture, then the cabbage leaves (folded and laid across the meat layer), cheese on top of the sauce, then meat mixture, cabbage leaves, sauce and Mozzarella cheese.

7Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
