- 1 stick butter
- 1 c. packed brown sugar
- 4 Tbsp. milk
- 2 1/2 c. sifted confectioners sugar
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Melt the butter in saucepan. Stir in the brown sugar. Cook 2 minutes on low heat, stirring constantly. Add the milk, stirring until mixture comes to a boil.

2Remove from stove.

3Stir in the confectioners sugar gradually. Add the vanilla and mix well. Spread immediately on cake.

4Frost 1 pound cake or 2 layers.
