Ingredients

  • 2 c. (8 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
  • 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can tomato soup, undiluted
  • 1 (16 oz.) can whole tomatoes, undrained and chopped
  • 1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans, undrained
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper

Directions

    Combine ground beef, onion and green pepper in Dutch oven. Cook over medium heat until beef is brown, stirring to crumble meat.

    Drain!

    Add soup, tomatoes, beans, chili powder, salt, pepper and garlic powder.

    Stir well. Cover, reduce heat and simmer 1 hour, stirring occasionally.

    Sprinkle each serving with Cheddar cheese.
