  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. baking powder
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 cube or 1/2 c. margarine
  • 2 (12 oz.) fruit (peaches, cherries or apple)

Directions

    Mix flour, sugar, salt, baking powder and milk in mixing bowl. Set aside until you have melted margarine.

    Use 10 x 12-inch pan and melt margarine.

    Let cool; then add batter, then fruit.

    Mix into batter.

    Bake at 350° until top is golden brown, 30 to 40 minutes.
