- 2 cups self-raising flour
- 2 cups desiccated coconut (shredded)
- 8 oz. butter, melted
- 1-1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup milk
Directions

1Heat oven to 180C/350F.

2Grease and line a 23 cm.

3(9-inch) cake tin.

4Melt butter in a large saucepan.

5Stir in the sugar and allow to cool slightly.

6Add all the other ingredients.

7Stir to mix.

8Pour into prepared cake tin.

9Bake in pre-heated oven for about 40 minutes.
