Ingredients

  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 large can sliced peaches, canned cherries, apples or you may use fresh fruit

Directions

    Melt oleo or butter in glass dish or pan.

    Mix the ingredients together to make a batter (except the fruit).

    Pour batter into dish with melted butter.

    Put fruit on top of batter.
  5. 5
    Batter will come to top and form a crust when baked.

    Bake in 350° oven until brown on top.

    Very good served warm with ice cream.
