- 1 stick butter
- 1 1/4 c sugar
- 1 c self rising flour
- 1 c milk
- 2 c fruit (peaches, blackberries, apples, etc)
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Directions

1Mix fruit with 1/2 c sugar.

2Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place butter in 1 1/2 quart casserole dish and place in oven to melt.

3Make batter using remaining 3/4 c sugar, flour, milk. Blend until smooth.

4When butter is melted, pour batter evenly over butter.

5DO NOT STIR.

6Add fruit to mixture and sprinkle with cinnamon.

7Bake in 350 degree oven for 35 to 40 minutes or until top is slightly brown and crusty.

8Serve hot or cold with ice cream or Cool Whip.

9Servings: 6 to 8.
