  • 3/4 cube margarine (6 Tbsp.)
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 c. sugar
  • pinch of salt
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 2/3 c. milk
  • 2 c. fruit (berries, apple, peach, etc.)
  • 1/4 c. sugar (if using fresh fruit)

Directions

    Melt margarine in a 9-inch square pan or 2-quart casserole. Mix flour, baking powder, milk, sugar and salt.

    Stir together and pour over margarine.

    Top with fruit, adding small amount of sugar with fresh fruit. Bake at 350° for about 1 hour.
