- 1 cup garbanzo flour
- 1 1/2 cup water cold
- 4 tablespoons lemon juice
- 4 tablespoons tahini (sesame paste)
- 3/4 teaspoons sea salt optional
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder or 1 garlic clove, pressed
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Directions

1In a saucepan stir garbanzo flour into the cold water until smooth.

2Heat mixture until bubbly, stirring constantly.

3Remove from heat.

4Add lemon juice, tahini, garlic and salt if used.

5Mix well; cool.

6If mixture appears to be too thick, add more water before serving.

7Pour oil over hummus, or stir into the mixture.
