  • 1 box Duncan Hines spice cake mix
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 small chocolate instant pudding mix
  • 3/4 c. oil
  • 1 c. jam
  • 2 3/4 c. water

    Put the ingredients listed in a large mixing bowl.

    Blend on low speed of mixer until moistened.

    Mix at medium speed for about 4 minutes.

    Pour batter in prepared loaf pan (9 x 13-inch) or medium angel food cake pan.

    Bake at 350° for 45 to 60 minutes. Cool in pan on rack for 15 minutes.

    Use Caramel Icing.
