  • 4 eggs
  • 3/4 c. oil
  • 3/4 c. water
  • 1 c. blackberry jam
  • 1 small box chopped dates
  • 1 c. nuts

    Mix ingredients together well and pour into greased 9 x 13-inch pan or 3 greased 9-inch layer pans.

    Bake in preheated 350° oven 1 hour.

    For sheet cake 45 minutes for layers.
