Quick Pickled Peaches

Ingredients

  • 3/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. vinegar
  • 2 to 3 broken sticks cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. whole cloves
  • 1/4 tsp. allspice
  • 1 (No. 2 1/2) can peach halves

Directions

    In a bowl, drain syrup from can of peach halves.

    Put rest of ingredients in the peach syrup and bring to a boil.

    Simmer for 5 minutes.

    Add fruit and simmer 5 minutes.

    Cool and refrigerate for 1

    week.

    Good with baked ham and roasted lamb.
