Quick Raisin Bread Pudding

- 3 slices raisin bread
- butter or margarine
- 3 eggs
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 (13 or 14 oz.) can evaporated milk over 1 c. boiling water
Directions

1Toast raisin bread.

2Spread lightly with butter or margarine. Cut toasted bread in 1/2-inch cubes.

3Divide in 6 (6-ounce) custard cups.

4Combine eggs, sugar and vanilla.

5Stir in evaporated milk and 1 cup boiling water.

6Pour mixture over toast. Place custard cups in pan of hot water and bake until knife inserted in center comes out clean.

7Remove cups and cool. Refrigerate.

8Makes 6 servings.
