- 10 small tender yellow crookneck squash
- 1/2 stick margarine
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1/4 tsp. garlic salt
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste
Directions

1Wash and slice squash vertically, then set aside.

2Melt margarine on low heat in skillet.

3Add onion and simmer until soft.

4Place squash in skillet with onion.

5Add garlic, salt, pepper and sugar.

6Saute over low heat, then cover and simmer until tender.

7Serve hot.
