  • 200 g sugar
  • 200 g self raising flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 3 eggs

    cream butter and sugar.

    add rest of ingrediants.

    if you want a chocolate sponge flavour now - 2-3Tablespoons cocoa mixed with a little hot water.

    pour into 2 well greased round tins.

    bake 350f 25 mins.

    when the sponges have cooled fill with vanilla flavoured whipped cream and berries, put sponges together and pour over chocolate sauce.
