Ingredients

  • 14 cup shortening (Crisco or Crisco oil)
  • 1 cup mushroom, sliced
  • 12 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cups turkey, cooked, diced
  • 2 cups potatoes, cooked, diced
  • 1 tablespoon parsley, snipped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 18 teaspoon pepper
  • 23 cup milk, evaporated

Directions

    Heat Crisco shortening in a large saucepan on medium heat.

    Add mushrooms and onion.

    Saute about 5 minutes.

    Remove from heat.

    Stir in turkey, potatoes, parsely, salt and pepper.

    Add evaporated milk gredually, stirring gently.

    Heat mixture thoroughly (about 5 minutes).
