- 1 envelope active dry yeast
- 2 1/2 c. buttermilk baking mix
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 c. warm water
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in the 1/2 cup water.

2Add mix and egg; mix well.

3Turn out on floured board and knead 5 minutes.

4Pat with hands to 1/2-inch thickness.

5Cut with biscuit cutter and put on greased cookie sheet.

6Let raise in warm place until double.

7Bake at 400° until lightly browned.
