- 5 rabbits
- 2 c. oil
- 2 c. flour
- 2 cans tomatoes
- 7 onions
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. m.s.g.
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1/8 tsp. red pepper
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 3 oz. Taylor Golden Sherry
Directions

1Brown rabbit and remove from oil.

2Make dark roux of flour and oil.

3Add chopped onions and cook until clear, then add other ingredients and rabbits.

4Cover with water and cook slowly (3 to 5 hours), stirring occasionally, until meat is very tender and gravy is thick.

5Season to taste while cooking.

6Serve with rice.
