- 1 c. sweet butter, softened
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
- 1 c. chopped walnuts
- 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 1 Tbsp. cinnamon
Directions

1Mix butter, cream cheese and salt until creamy.

2Mix in flour. Shape into 14 balls.

3Refrigerate overnight.

4Heat oven to 350°. On lightly floured surface, roll each ball to a 6-inch circle. Cut each into quarters.

5Mix nuts, sugar and cinnamon.

6Drop rounded teaspoonfuls onto each quarter.

7Pinch together edges of dough, then form into crescents.

8Place on an ungreased cookie sheet.

9Bake for 12 minutes, until light brown.

10Best served fresh.

11Makes 5 dozen.
