Rainbow Jello

Ingredients

  • 2 c. milk
  • 1 pt. sour cream
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 pkg. Knox gelatine
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 (3 oz.) box each: orange, lemon, lime and cherry jello

Directions

    Mix milk and sugar together; bring to a boil.

    Cool.

    Dissolve the Knox gelatine in 1/2 cup cold water; add to milk and sugar mixture.

    Add sour cream and vanilla and beat until smooth. Divide into three portions.

    Mix one package of jello with 1 1/2 cups boiling water (no cold water).

    Pour into 9 x 13-inch dish and refrigerate until completely set; add 1/3 of milk mixture and allow to set completely.

    Repeat with other colors of jello with milk mixture in between and ending with a layer of jello.

    Allow to set completely after each layer.

    Cut in squares to serve.
