  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/3 c. melted shortening
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 yeast cakes or 2 pkg. dry yeast
  • 4 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. lukewarm water
