  • 4 eggs
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 lb. oleo
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 pkg. yeast
  • 2 c. lukewarm milk
  • 8 c. flour
  • 2 c. raisins

Directions

    Dissolve yeast in 1/4 cup warm water.

    Heat milk, add to sugar, oleo, and salt.

    Stir in yeast.

    Mix in flour.

    If too soft, add more flour.

    Mix in raisins.

    Knead.

    Let rise about 1 1/2 - 2 hours.

    Shape into 2 loaves.

    Let rise again.

    Bake at 325° for 30 minutes or until done.
