- 1 cup flour
- 12 cup brown sugar
- 14 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 cup raisins
- 12 cup milk
- 1 12 cups boiling water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350.

2In a casserole dish, combine flour, brown sugar, salt, baking powder and raising.

3Mix well.

4Add milk and beat until well blended.

5In a measuring cup, combine boiling water, vanilla, butter and sugar.

6Mix well.

7Pour boiling water mixture over a spoon into the casserole dish.

8Bake for 30 - 40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

9Note: I will make this up in advance and gently heat in the oven before serving.

10Serve with ice cream.
