  • 2 sticks real butter
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 6 eggs (beat in one at a time)
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. almond flavoring
  • 3 c. sifted flour
  • 1/2 pt. whipping cream (not whipped)

Directions

    Have butter, eggs and whipping cream at room temperature. Cream butter and sugar well.

    Add eggs one at a time.

    Add flavoring.

    Add flour alternately with whipping cream.

    Grease and flour a tube pan and bake at 300° for 1 1/2 hours or longer.
