Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. raisins
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
- dash of salt
- 3 egg yolks, slightly beaten
- 1 small can Pet milk
- approximately 1 1/2 c. milk
- 1/2 stick unsalted butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Pour water over raisins just to cover.

2Cook on medium heat for 10 minutes.

3While raisins are cooking, measure sugar, cornstarch and salt in small bowl.

4Drain raisins.

5Keep the juice and add Pet milk and regular milk (enough to make 3 cups).

6Add milk mixture to dry ingredients to raisins.

7Stir until smooth, then cook on medium heat to a soft boil.

8Boil 1 minute.

9Add slightly beaten egg yolks, stirring constantly.

10Add butter and vanilla.

11Stir.

12Let cool to room temperature.

13Pour into unbaked pie crust.

14Make strips for the top.

15Bake at 400° for 30 minutes or until bubbly.
