Raisin Cream Pie

  • 2 c. raisins
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 4 egg whites
  • 1 c. Milnot
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 1 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • dash of salt
  • 1 (10-inch) baked pie crust

Directions

    Soak raisins in hot water 20 minutes and drain well; set aside.

    Combine flour, sugar, salt and egg whites in medium saucepan.

    Mix well.

    Gradually add milk and water.

    Cook on medium-high heat, stirring constantly until thick.

    Add margarine, vanilla and raisins.

    Cool and pour into a baked pie crust.

    Cover with meringue or Cool Whip if desired.
