- 1 c. raisins
- 1 c. water
- 1 egg, beaten
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Directions

1In a saucepan, heat raisins and water to just boiling.

2Cool. Mix egg, sugar and vanilla.

3Add to raisins.

4Add flour and dry ingredients.

5Beat well.

6Stir in walnuts.

7Pour into a loaf pan and bake at 350° for 50 to 60 minutes.
