- 2 c. water
- 2 c. raisins
- 2/3 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
- 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 3 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
Directions

1Boil water; add raisins and cook uncovered 3 to 5 minutes. Mix sugar, cornstarch and salt; mix into raisins.

2Return to heat; stir constantly until sauce thickens.

3Remove from heat; add cinnamon and lemon juice.

4Pour filling into crust.

5Bake 30 or 40 minutes, until crust is golden brown.
