- 3/4 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 c. water
- 1/2 c. dark corn syrup
- 1 1/2 c. raisins
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 2 tsp. margarine
- pastry for double crust pie (9-inch)
Directions

1In a saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch and salt.

2Stir in water, corn syrup and raisins.

3Cook and stir until bubbly; cook and stir 2 minutes more.

4Remove from heat; stir in lemon juice and margarine.

5Filling will be thin.

6Pour into pastry-lined pie plate.

7Cover with top crust.

8Seal and flute edges.

9Cut slits in top.

10Bake at 425° for 10 minutes; reduce temperature to 375° and bake 30 minutes more.
