Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 c. chopped onions
  • 1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
  • 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
  • 1/4 c. brown sugar, not packed
  • 1/2 c. ketchup
  • 1 (1 lb. 12 oz.) can pork and beans
  • 1 (15 oz.) can kidney beans

Directions

    Melt butter in heavy skillet. Saute beef and onion in melted butter until beef is browned.

    Add salt, Worcestershire sauce and mustard. Simmer 15 minutes.

    Combine sugar and ketchup. Add beans and beef mixture to brown sugar mixture.

    Turn into 2 1/2-quart baking dish.

    Bake, uncovered, in a preheated 325° oven for 45 minutes.
