- 1 (14 oz.) pkg. light caramels
- 1 small can evaporated milk
- 1 German chocolate cake mix
- 3/4 c. butter, melted
- 16 oz. chocolate chips
- 1 c. nuts, chopped
Directions

1In a double boiler, combine caramels and 1/3 cup milk.

2Melt. Set aside.

3Grease and flour pan.

4Mix cake mix, butter, 1/3 cup milk and nuts.

5Press 1/2 dough in pan.

6Bake at 350° for 6 minutes.

7Sprinkle with chocolate chips over dough; then spread over with caramel mix.

8Crumble rest of dough on caramel.

9Cool slightly and then refrigerate at least 30 minutes.
