Ingredients

  • 4 1/2 c. flour
  • 4 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 pkg. dry yeast, dissolved in 1/2 c. warm water
  • 1/2 c. Wesson oil
  • 2 c. buttermilk

Directions

    Add baking powder, salt, soda and sugar to flour.

    Add oil, buttermilk and yeast mixture; mix like biscuits.

    Refrigerate and take out desired amount of dough.

    Roll and cut out like biscuits. Let rise 30 minutes before baking.

    (You do not have to let them rise but they are lighter if you do.)

    Dough will keep in refrigerator for about a week.
