- 2 c. buttermilk
- 4 to 6 Tbsp. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. Crisco oil or butter
- 4 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. warm water
- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 5 c. flour (more, if needed)
Directions

1Dissolve sugar in warm water in a large mixing bowl. Add dry yeast. Add other ingredients.

2Mix and let stand to rise. Work down 3 times, then put in refrigerator.

3Will keep in refrigerator up to 3 weeks.

4(Work down often.) Bake in a 350° oven.
