Ingredients

  • 2 lb. pinto beans
  • 1 pkg. taco seasoning
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 2 cubes chicken bouillon
  • 1 onion, chopped (optional)
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tsp. cumin
  • pepper to taste
  • 1 bunch cilantro
  • 8 slices bacon
  • 1 chopped tomato
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • jalapeno peppers to taste (sliced, canned)

Directions

    Clean beans by rinsing.

    In large pan, cover with water.

    Add taco seasoning, garlic, bouillon, onion, salt, cumin and pepper. Bring to a boil, then lower to medium heat and cook for 1 1/2 hours or until beans are tender.

    Add water occasionally, if necessary.
