- 1/2 cups Sugar
- 1 cup Water
- 1/3 cups Basil Leaves
- 3 cups Frozen Raspberries
- 1 whole Lime, Juiced

11. Combine the sugar and water in a pan, bring to a boil and then lower heat and let it simmer for about five minutes. Remove from the heat and let it cool.

22. In a food processor, blend the basil, raspberries and lime juice until smooth.

33. Mix the raspberry mixture together with the sugar syrup and place in a plastic container. Freeze until set, about three hours. After the first hour, stir the mixture with a fork, and continue to do this every half hour or so, to give it a lighter texture.

44. Serve on its own, or with some fresh seasonal fruit.
