  • 8 cups fresh raspberries or 8 cups frozen raspberries
  • 1 12 cups sugar
  • 23 cup cider vinegar
  • 12 cup water
  • 2 liters ginger ale, chilled
  • 2 cups ice water

    In lg saucepan, crush berries.

    Stir in sugar, vinegar, and 1/2 cup water.

    Bring to a boil; reduce heat; simmer 15 minutes.

    Strain and chill.

    Before serving, mix in the ginger ale and ice water.
