- 5 cups fresh raspberries or 5 cups frozen raspberries
- 2 tablespoons water
- 6 tablespoons sugar
- 1 14 cups whipping cream
Directions

1Put berries into pan and add water and sugar.

2Cover and simmer 5 minutes until just soft (10 minutes for frozen).

3Puree fruit.

4Cool and chill.

5Churn puree in ice cream machine until thick (10-15 minutes).

6Gradually pour in cream.

7Don't be tempted to mix together first.

8It will change the texture.

9Continue to churn until firm.

10Freeze for firmer texture if desired.

11Can also add a swirl of slightly heated raspberry jam before freezing in freezer.
