  • 1 (10 ounce) packagered frozen raspberries, thawed, juice reserved
  • 13 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 14 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 3 medium pears, peeled, cored and sliced (2 1/2 c.)
  • 1 cup flour
  • 12 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 34 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 14 teaspoon salt

    Drain raspberries, add water to reserved syrup to make 1 cup.

    In a saucepan combine, sugar, cornstarch, and spice; stir in syrup mixture.

    Cook and stir till thick and bubbly.

    Stir in berries and pears, heat through.

    Pour into a 1 1/2 quart round baking dish.
